Daily Care

    • Remove jewelry before exercising, swimming, showering, or sleeping
    • Apply lotions, perfumes, and cosmetics before putting on jewelry
    • Wipe pieces with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove oils and dirt

Cleaning Your Jewelry

Light Cleaning (Monthly):

    1. Mix warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap
    2. Gently scrub with a soft toothbrush
    3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water
    4. Pat dry completely with a soft cloth
    5. Let air dry fully before storing

Deep Cleaning (As Needed): For heavily tarnished pieces, use a silver polishing cloth or professional silver cleaner. Follow product instructions carefully.

What to Avoid:

    • Harsh chemicals (bleach, chlorine, ammonia)
    • Abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads
    • Ultrasonic cleaners (can loosen stones)
    • Soaking gemstone jewelry for extended periods

Storage

    • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
    • Keep pieces in the provided pouch or a lined jewelry box
    • Store items separately to prevent scratching
    • Use anti-tarnish strips in your jewelry box

About Tarnish

Sterling silver naturally develops a patina (darkening) over time. This is normal and many people find it adds character. Regular wear actually helps prevent tarnish.

Gemstone-Specific Care

    • Moonstone, Labradorite, Opal: Avoid sudden temperature changes; clean with damp cloth only
    • Onyx, Garnet: Durable; safe to clean with soapy water
    • Turquoise, Pearls: Porous stones; wipe with damp cloth only; never soak
